FOOD ALLERGY NETWORK (www.foodallergy.org): Anyone who has food allergies should check out this site. There is information on product recalls, product alerts, etc. FOODFACTS.COM (www.foodfacts.com): This is a searchable data base containing more than 9,000 food ingredients and over 30,000 name brand food products. If you want to find out what is in Chicken McNuggets or Pizza Hut pizza, this is one of the places you should investigate. ALERT, INC. (www.alert@execp.com): ALERT stands for: Allergy to Latex Education & Resources, Inc. It is a good source of information on latex allergy as well as various products which do/do not contain latex. MASSACHUSETTS MEDICAL SOCIETY (www.massmed.org): lots of general, medical news, particularly regarding Massachusetts MASSACHUSETTS BOARD OF REGISTRAION IN MEDICINE: (www.docboard.org/ma/df/name.html) From this site you can find information on any physician who has a license to practice medicine in Massachusetts ASTHMA & ALLERGY FOUNDATION OF NEW ENGLAND:(www.asthmaandallergies.org)This is an ecxellent source of allergy and asthma information with an emphasis on the New England states including information on advocacy issues (for example, how to deal with school related issues) |
